Adam Zampa first gained attention during the 2010 Under-19 World Cup while representing Australia, thanks to his unique and somewhat old-school bowling action. His debut in first-class cricket for New South Wales during the 2012/13 Sheffield Shield season marked his entry into professional cricket. He later moved to South Australia, where he continued to develop his skills and became a consistent and reliable spinner in domestic cricket.
Zampa’s strong performances in domestic cricket earned him a spot in the Australian national team, particularly in limited-overs formats. He made his international debut in the Australian ODI and T20I squads and was a part of the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 squad in India.
With his leg-spin skills and ability to consistently take wickets while maintaining good economy rates, Zampa has been a valuable asset to the Australian team in white-ball cricket
