Rain Rain Go Away: IPL 2023 Final, Ahmedabad Weather live updates: CSK vs GT IPL final moves to reserve day due to rain

Continuous rain and thunderstorms in Ahmedabad have compelled the final between Chennai Super Kings(CSK) and Gujarat Titans(GT) of IPL 2023 to be moved to the reserve day: 29 May 2023.

This is the first time that an IPL Final has been moved to a reserve day.

The rain was so severe that even the toss could not take place. The full 20 over game will now occur on reserve day with hopefully good weather conditions.

The officials of the match waited till 11 pm before calling it a day, as the rain prevented the play even not for a meagre time. There were periods in which umpires took a look for resuming the game but tough luck for the deciders.

The rescheduled reserve match between Chennai Super Kings(CSK) and Gujarat Titans(GT) will occur at 7:30 PM IST.
